Diversity in BOW

The purpose of BOW is to foster an environment of respect for the dignity and worth of all participants, volunteers, and instructors; provide a safe and supportive environment where diversity is recognized as an important component of the program; and strive to eliminate bias, prejudice, discrimination, and harassment in all forms and manifestations.

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) welcomes all adult women regardless of an individual’s race, gender, religion, color, creed, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, pregnancy, or parental status.

Please let us know how we can provide a better experience for you.

The following information is not required, but allows us to better determine who participates in BOW. This information is extremely helpful when seeking financial assistance to off-set the cost of this program.

Class Choices

Select your first, second, and third choice for each session. If you plan to skip a session for any reason (e.g. arriving late, leaving early, taking a nap, etc.), mark “Not Participating This Session” to allow other participants the chance to take the class of their choosing.
Required for anyone registering for a shooting sports class without Hunter Education or significant shooting experience.

Scholarship Information

Scholarships are available for first time attendees with financial need. All scholarships applicants must submit a $50.00 deposit, along with the completed Registration Form and Scholarship Application to hold space in the workshop.
If I do not receive the scholarship, I understand that I may pay the remaining workshop fee, or my $50.00 will be returned in full. Scholarship Applications are available at www.tulsacampfire.org/bow.

Lodging

Roommate Preference
List up to 3 women with whom you would prefer to share a cabin. Specific cabin location requests cannot be guaranteed. Specific buildings are determined by sleep area designation and mobility challenges.

Workshop Fees & Payment

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation on or before September 30 will result in a 50% refund. Registrants who do not attend, or cancel their registration after September 30, will be responsible for full program fees. You may, however, send a substitute in your place (please notify us in advance if doing so).
