Diversity in BOW

The purpose of BOW is to foster an environment of respect for the dignity and worth of all participants, volunteers, and instructors; provide a safe and supportive environment where diversity is recognized as an important component of the program; and strive to eliminate bias, prejudice, discrimination, and harassment in all forms and manifestations.

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) welcomes all adult women regardless of an individual’s race, gender, religion, color, creed, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, pregnancy, or parental status.

Please let us know how we can provide a better experience for you.

The following information is not required, but allows us to better determine who participates in BOW. This information is extremely helpful when seeking financial assistance to off-set the cost of this program.

Class Choices

Select your first, second, and third choice for each session. If you plan to skip a session for any reason (e.g. arriving late, leaving early, taking a nap, etc.), mark “Not Participating In This Session” to allow other participants the chance to take the class of their choosing. Due to the popularity of BOW, pro-rated, “a la carte”, or “per class” fees are not offered for participants who arrive late, leave early, or skip classes

Scholarship Information

Scholarships are available for first time attendees with financial need. Pay $50 as a deposit to hold your spot then submit a Scholarship Form no later than September 18. Applicants without a Scholarship Form submitted by September 18 are ineligible to receive financial assistance.
If I do not receive the scholarship, I understand that I may pay the remaining workshop fee, or my $50.00 will be returned in full. Scholarship Applications are available at www.tulsacampfire.org/bow.

Lodging

Workshop fee includes seven meals, lodging, class equipment and supplies (unless noted in Workshop Catalog), site fees, and workshop facilitation. Due to the popularity of BOW, pro-rated, “a la carte”, or “per class” fees are not offered for participants who arrive late, leave early, or skip classes.
Roommate Preference
