2008 Resident Camp Info & Fees

Camp Waluhili Resident Camp

You want your child to be happy, to have fun... and to reach his or her potential. So do we! Camp Waluhili is a great camp where caring staff provide the attention, safety, respect and empowerment necessary for children to believe in themselves and their future. A diverse group of children come together, experiencing acceptance for who they are. Respecting others and valuing the interrelationships of all living things are vital to the camp experience. Camp Waluhili is a safe place where all children can develop skills and pursue personal interests with the support and encouragement of everyone around them. Kids love Camp Waluhili. We welcome your child or children... and look forward to helping them grow!

Waluhili offers camping based on Camp Fire USA's philosophy. Camp Fire emphasizes a child-centered approach and utilizes small groups, individual attention and acceptance of differences. Programs focus on outdoor appreciation, democratic group living, non-competitive sports, skill development, concern for others, fun and friendship.

Our staff members are trained to offer quality and exciting programs in a safe and healthy environment. With an adult to camper ratio of 1 to 8, the Camp Waluhili administration assures adult supervision and care for all youth attending resident camp at all times. The American Camp Association (ACA) has consistently accredited Camp Waluhili throughout the years. An ACA team verifies full compliance by the Green Country Council with more than 300 nationally recognized industry standards.

Camp Waluhili, located just north of Wagoner, OK., on the scenic shores of Lake Ft. Gibson, has been a great place for boys and girls ages 8 to 17 to grow since 1949. Waluhili’s 219 acres of forest and lake shoreline offer a wide variety of areas for creative programs and adventures for Camp Fire's summer resident campers.
