Camp Fire invites kids in kindergarten – 6^th grade to join us for a week of fun featuring art, science experiments, and outdoor fun.

Open to any enrolled Tulsa Public Schools student, Kindergarten-6th grade. Please choose one week to enroll your student.

Registration will ask you to select your preference for the week of camp your child would like to attend. Spaces will be filled on a first-registered first-scheduled basis. You will be notified if your child has successfully been added to the roster of your preferred week or if your child has been placed on a waiting list if your selected week is full.

You have two options for DROP OFF and PICK UP:

Camp Fire Green Country Office in Downtown Tulsa | Drop off is 8-8:30 a.m. Pick up is 4:30-5 p.m.

Camp Fire’s Sapulpa Campgrounds | Drop off is 8:30-9 a.m. Pick up is 4-4:30 p.m.

If you are dropping off your child at the Camp Fire Green Country Downtown Office, your child will be transported by school bus to our Camp Fire camp in Sapulpa on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.

FAQs

How much does Summer Day Camp camp cost?

Thanks to funding from AmeriCorps, Tulsa Public Schools and The Opportunity Project, we are able to offer this opportunity at no cost to the youth who attend. This includes all materials for activities and food for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Youth will also receive a camp shirt.

What if my child cannot attend every day?

While we understand some unexpected events occur and a child may not be able to attend due to illness or other unexpected situation, we do want kids to attend all days if possible. Please choose a week when your child will be able to attend all 5 days. If your child is unable to attend a day, we ask that you contact us before 8am the day you know they won’t be attending so we aren’t waiting on them at drop off.

What does my child need to bring with them?

A complete list of items to bring and prohibited items will be sent in the confirmation packet, but mainly kids need to come dressed and ready for playing in the outdoors.

Youth should wear closed-toe shoes with socks. There are lots of sticks and stones at camp and we certainly don’t want anyone hurting their toes!

Youth will be given a water bottle to use throughout the week.

What shouldn’t my child bring to day camp?

Food. This is to minimize exposure to other youth who may have food allergies. We will provide meals and snacks throughout the day.

“Heelys” or other shoes with wheels

Toys, stuffed animals, Legos, trading cards, etc.

Weapons or knives of any kind

Electronic devices of any kind

Valuables of any kind

Any prohibited items will be collected and returned to the student at the end of the day. Camp Fire is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Are masks required at camp?

Camp Fire Green Country follows CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all campers and staff members.

The CDC guidance, at this time, is that masks are not required. If the CDC guidance changes you will be contacted with updated information.

What if my child has food allergies?

If your child has any food allergies, please list them in the registration form. We will ensure that there are food options available that meet your child’s dietary restrictions.

What if my child has medication they need to take during the day?

If your child has medication they need to take while attending day camp, please send the medication in its original packaging, contained in a ziplock/zippered baggie. Please also include the child’s name and instructions for use.

One of our leaders will collect and hold that medication for the day and will ensure that your child is able to access it when necessary.

If I need to contact someone while my child is at camp, how do I do that?

Camp Fire invita a los niños de jardín de infantes a sexto grado a unirse a nosotros en una semana de diversión con arte, experimentos científicos y diversión al aire libre.

Abierto a cualquier estudiante matriculado en las Escuelas Públicas de Tulsa, de jardín de infantes a sexto grado. Elija una semana para inscribir a su estudiante.

El registro le pedirá que seleccione su preferencia para la semana de campamento a la que le gustaría asistir a su hijo. Los espacios se llenarán en base a los primeros registrados, primeros programados. ¿Cuánto cuesta el campamento Summer Day Camp?

¿Qué necesita traer mi hijo con ellos?

Se enviará una lista completa de artículos para traer y artículos prohibidos en el paquete de confirmación, pero principalmente los niños deben venir vestidos y listos para jugar al aire libre.

Los jóvenes deben usar zapatos cerrados con calcetines. ¡Hay muchos palos y piedras en el campamento y ciertamente no queremos que nadie se lastime los dedos de los pies!

Los jóvenes recibirán una botella de agua para usar durante la semana.

¿Qué no debe llevar mi hijo al campamento de día?

Alimento. Esto es para minimizar la exposición a otros jóvenes que puedan tener alergias alimentarias. Proporcionaremos comidas y refrigerios durante todo el día.

Uno de nuestros líderes recogerá y guardará ese medicamento durante el día y se asegurará de que su hijo pueda acceder a él cuando sea necesario.
