Program Manager- Program Delivery – (click for job description)

Camp Fire Green Country (CFGC) is seeking candidates to lead a diverse and dynamic program staff team, including AmeriCorps Members, to achieve strategic goals through supervision including hiring, training, coaching, and support. Managers work collaboratively with fellow program staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality youth development programming in partnership with schools and other community agencies. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, serving, and retaining youth, families, volunteers, staff, and AmeriCorps members; conducting and evaluating direct-service program delivery through in and out-of-school time clubs, events, and other program opportunities such as camping and outdoor experiences, field trips, and school break day camps. Utilizes personal sparks, creativity, and networks to offer suggestions for and develop new programs. Represents Camp Fire Green Country (CFGC) as a member of the management team to all stakeholders including the Board of Directors, community partners, and funders.

Represents Camp Fire Green Country (CFGC) as a member of the management team to all stakeholders including the Board of Directors, community partners, and funders.

AmeriCorps Member (Part-Time) – (click for job description)

Camp Fire Green Country (CFGC) is seeking candidates for several part-time AmeriCorps members (approximately 20 hours per week).  AmeriCorps members with Camp Fire deliver high-quality, developmental programming to youth in pre-school through 12th grade, and work collaboratively with fellow program staff to ensure the effectiveness of Camp Fire opportunities for youth in partnership with schools and other community agencies. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, serving, and retaining youth, families, and volunteers; planning, conducting, and evaluating direct-service program delivery through in and out-of-school time clubs; designing and carrying out events and other program opportunities such as camping and outdoor experiences, field trips, and school break day camps. Part-time AmeriCorps members earn a living allowance of $11,250 during their term of service and an education award (may be used for higher education expenses including student loans) of approximately $3,247.50 upon successful completion of contract terms and a minimum of 900 hours of service. Other benefits of AmeriCorps service include student loan deferment, qualifying student loan interest paid during service term, on-the-job skill training, and connections within the AmeriCorps network.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, serving, and retaining youth, families, and volunteers; planning, conducting, and evaluating direct-service program delivery through in and out-of-school time clubs; designing and carrying out events and other program opportunities such as camping and outdoor experiences, field trips, and school break day camps. Part-time AmeriCorps members earn a living allowance of $23,375 during their term of service and an education award (may be used for higher education expenses including student loans) of approximately $6,495 upon successful completion of contract terms and a minimum of 900 hours of service. Other benefits of AmeriCorps service include free health insurance, student loan deferment, qualifying student loan interest paid during service term, on-the-job skill training, child care assistance, and connections within the AmeriCorps network.

Summer Camp Staff Positions

Camp Fire Green Country is looking for fun and energetic people who are excited about working to provide a life-changing summer for the leaders of the future. Camp Waluhili is a residential camp located in Eastern Oklahoma on 220 acres on Ft Gibson Lake. We focus our campers’ experiences on building friendships and leadership skills, self-confidence, an appreciation for the outdoors, and an awareness of community responsibility – all in an inclusive environment. Camp staff achieve this by promoting active learning within small groups while progressively challenging campers as they grow older and gain experience. Camp Fire Green Country has returned to in-person programs and office work. We continue to monitor and follow CDC recommendations and guidelines and require all staff to be vaccinated.
