Camp Fire Green Country is excited to offer virtual clubs through our school and community partners and now clubs open to the public!
These clubs will use a combination of online engagement and sent home activities to help your youth learn, grow, and thrive. For youth to participate in the clubs they must have use of an email address (can be parent or guardian's email address) and internet access on a computer, laptop, tablet, phone, or another device.
Space in open-enrollment clubs is limited. See below for information on the types of clubs being offered.
In Fashion Club youth will be empowered through activities and discussion around body positivity, self-expression, individuality, self-care, creativity, and more! This club will allow youth to shape club projects to further explore their unique interests, and participate in weekly creative challenges. There will be opportunities to learn about careers in the arts and how to pursue the creative aspirations in Tulsa. We aim to create a safe space where youth feel free to explore outside of their comfort zone and open their eyes to new sparks!
Our Discovery clubs are tailored specifically to our 6th-8th grade community. Come connect with other young people to discover what you’re passionate about and make plans to push beyond obstacles. In this virtual club, you can expect to gain confidence and community while focusing on what really makes you, you. Clubs are facilitated by young adults, but many of the activities will be curated by our participants! No previous experience in a Camp Fire club needed.
D&D Club is a program focused on the gameplay of the notorious roleplaying game, 'Dungeons and Dragons.' A team of adventurers (club members) is immersed in a pseudo-medieval world of sword-and-sorcery run by the Dungeon Master (club leader), who narrates settings, events, and adapts the emerging game to youths' free actions and decisions. The world of the game is orally constructed and conjured in the imagination, with the help of rule books, reference guides, charts, multifaceted dice, and maps. Registration is available for youth grades 6-12. Youth must have a device and access to internet to participate in this club. Youth need not have any prior D&D experience to participate.
Young people want to shape the world.
Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.
In Camp Fire, it begins now.
