Camp Fire Green Country is excited to offer virtual clubs through our school and community partners and now clubs open to the public!
These clubs will use a combination of online engagement and sent home activities to help your youth learn, grow, and thrive. For youth to participate in the clubs they must have use of an email address (can be parent or guardian's email address) and internet access on a computer, laptop, tablet, phone, or another device.
Space in open-enrollment clubs is limited. See below for information on the types of clubs being offered.
In Film Club youth will watch scenes from movies and television to engage in meaningful discussion about film through both a critical and creative eye. Youth will also have the unique opportunity to talk to actual professionals in the film industry. This club will give youth a chance to learn more about movies and get new insight into the industry as a whole. We hope to create a safe space where youth can explore new ideas and look at film in a different way. No prior knowledge is required, this club is for anyone that has seen a movie and enjoyed it. (Bonus points if you know what’s in the box or what Rosebud is) The club is fully virtual, must have access to an internet device. Registration is available for youth grades 9-12. Youth must have a device and access to internet to participate in this club.
